Blair’s Relationship to Creating Original Art
Blair sees herself as a conduit for ideas, experiences, and emotions, both her own and those of the culture around her. She aims to let creativity flow without interruption or judgment, allowing whatever wants to be expressed to move through her.
Much of Blair’s work reflects the activities that shape her daily life: trail running, climbing, skiing, and spending time in wild places. Yet inspiration often arrives from unexpected sources: a cultural phenomenon, a personal fascination, or a passing emotion. She welcomes these surprises.
Blair rejects being confined by subject, style, or identity. She accepts creating from a place of authenticity and aliveness. If that results in a cohesive body of beautiful work, wonderful. If it evolves into something entirely new, even better.
