Blair Latos is a full-time fine artist and creative entrepreneur based in the Sierra Nevada, creating large-scale paintings inspired by high places, sweeping views, and the visceral joy of being fully alive in wild nature. Whether capturing the quiet magic of alpine lakes or the exhilaration of a trail well-traveled, Blair’s art invites people to reconnect with what expands them, moves them, and reminds them what they are capable of.
Blair discovered painting in high school, and it was an instant chemical reaction — a feeling of resonance so undeniable that she traded in 13 years of competitive dance to pursue more art training and immerse herself completely in paint. She later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno, before realizing her true calling was to build a life as a professional artist and entrepreneur.
She is the founder of At the Summit Arts, through which she creates original artwork, collaborates with outdoor brands and organizations, partners with nonprofits for live painting fundraising activations, and produces custom commissions that capture meaningful moments, landscapes, memories, and personal adventures.
Outside the studio, Blair can most often be found moving through big landscapes. Her interests include long-distance mountain running, mountaineering, and a deep fascination with the sciences, especially understanding the mechanisms, patterns, and intelligence of the universe itself. She is currently earning her Private Pilot License, expanding her creative and physical world vertically to new literal and imaginative altitude.
Blair teaches art classes, speaks about creative entrepreneurship, and leads collaborative community events that help others believe in their own potential, pursue their big ideas, and build the life they actually want to live.
Her motto, in art and in life: Go For It.
